Forget “The Shire”. MTV know how it’s done.

MTV’s breakout success of 2011, Geordie Shore is continuing to prove a smash hit in 2012!

When it comes to engaging with People 16-29 years old, you can’t go past Geordie Shore. The most recent episode (Tuesday 20th March) recorded a 7.1% share and 34% week-on-week projections increase. With a slight female-skew (68%) overall, Geordie Shore won it’s timeslot across STV for the P16-29 demographic and ranked 2nd for Total People (2.0% share, behind FX’s The Walking Dead enjoying 2.6% share).

Consider the timeslot’s All TV rankings for P16-29; Geordie Shore placed 3rd behind Seven’s My Kitchen Rules and Packed to the Rafters, and is arguably a more engaging and relevant program for brands targeting this elusive TV demographic.
